Superior Cushioning
The cushioning configuration underfoot has been upgraded to give your feet a soft and comfortable feeling to help you run smoothly. Cushioning design helps provide shock protection when your foot hits the ground. Equipped with outstanding performance ZoomX and Cushlon foam, it creates a soft and comfortable feeling underfoot to help you take every step steadily. Based on runner feedback, the forefoot Zoom Air cushioning configuration of the previous shoe has been removed, and the midsole design has been simplified to improve comfort.
BOOMING
The shoe is designed to rebound and return energy for a great stride. The responsive rebound gives you a springy stride, helping you run faster without using too much energy, so you can run as long as you want. The shoe's rebounding performance features a layer of ZoomX foam on the top of the sole (Nike Running's lightweight foam for great energy return) and soft foam on the bottom, creating a smooth and dynamic stride.
STABLE SUPPORT
The right amount of support for a secure feel and a natural stride. Tuned support and strategically placed cushioning create a secure stride. The Vomero 17 is designed with just the right amount of support, so you can enjoy a balanced feel whether you're heel- or forefoot-strike. It's easy to run long or short, and provides a smooth heel-to-toe transition for a natural stride.
Comfortable fit
This shoe is designed to help you control your pace and run any distance with ease. The engineered mesh in the upper is lighter and more breathable than previous Vomeros. A soft sockliner provides a comfortable feel, and a soft collar provides a gentle touch to your heel while running. A padded tongue and soft elastic laces make for an exceptionally comfortable wearing experience.
Vomero 17 Redesign
The shoe's construction has been simplified by removing the forefoot Zoom Air cushioning configuration and adding premium ZoomX foam on top of the midsole for more comfortable cushioning. This upgrades the softness and rebound responsiveness of the shoe, creating a new step experience.
