Latin: Arums
Family: Araceae
Difficulty: Easy
Season & Zone
Exposure: Full sun
Timing: Tend to emerge fairly late in spring, even early summer, when planted directly in the garden so many gardeners prefer to start them early indoors
Starting: Sow seeds on the surface of a sterilized starting soil.
Provide bright light and use bottom heat to keep soil at 18-21°C (65-70°F). Seeds will germinate in 10-14 days. Space transplants at 25-45cm (8-18″) apart.
Growing: Seeds need light to germinate. Sprinkle the seeds on top of dirt and mist some water over them with a water bottle. Put plastic over seeds trays, keep them moist and wait. 2 months after germination your babies may begin to show some of their true colors.
