What is Laurin?
Laurin 100% cocoMCT is the very essence of coconut oil, distilled to its purest form of medium chain triglycerides. It is a light, flavor free oil that stays naturally liquid, making it suitable as a food supplement.
Medium-chain triglycerides are triglycerides with two or three fatty acids having an aliphatic tail of 6–12 carbon atoms, i.e., medium-chain fatty acids. Rich food sources for commercial extraction of MCTs include palm kernel oil and coconut oil.
Can MCT oil make you gain weight?
Taking MCT oil adds extra fats and calories to a person's diet. As such, excessive use of MCT oil may not be beneficial and could lead a person to gain weight. MCT oil supplements are created from versions of food oils, and so are not considered a natural product.
Directions:
Take 1-2 tablespoons with meals or as desired. It can be taken directly or mixed into food or beverages.
