Each box consists: 1pc Virginia Elbow Macaroni 450 grams 1pc Virginia Condensada 390 grams BACON MAC AND CHEESE RECIPE Ingredients: 1 pack Virginia Elbow Macaroni Pasta 450g 350 grams Virginia Honey-cured Bacon, chopped 1 tablespoon Buuter 1/3 cup Flour 1 1/2 cup Milk 1/4 cup Virginia Condensada 1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese 1 pc Red Bell Pepper, chopped 1 pc Green Bell Pepper, chopped Salt and Pepper to taste Instructions: 1) Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well and set aside. 2) Meanwhile, in a pan over medium heat, cook bacon and set aside. 3) In a large saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour and cook. Do not let it darken or turn brown. 4) Gradually add in milk and whisk constantly until smooth. 5) Cook sauce, stirring constantly, until thickened. 6) Add the cheese, condensada and bell pepper to the sauce. Stir and allow to cook for a few minutes until cheese is fully melted. Season with salt and pepper. 7) Add pasta and bacon and mix until coated with sauce. 8) Transfer to a serving dish and serve while warm. Option: Add cheese spread for a more cheesy pasta.
